On Sunday I met up with some friends to go to a beach on the Miura Peninsula! Instead of our usual spot on Jogashima, we wanted to try somewhere different, so we picked one of the many beaches in the Aburatsubo area.  I went there once for a SUP experience, and it was really pretty then. Based on the weather forecasts on Saturday morning, it seemed wisest that I immediately went on from Sendai to Yamagata to do my planned "side trip" to the temple at Yamadera, because Saturday was the only day with guaranteed sunny weather, while Sunday it might rain in the afternoon, and Monday it might rain in the morning... I got back back from Mt. Akagi at 9PM yesterday night and left again at 5:30 for my next destination, Nagasaki.
