On Saturday I went to the "Tasting" performance of the new Touken Ranbu 3D concert project, "Pure&Cool Touken Danshi"... Or "pyuakuru" in Japanese, which after seeing/hearing it I now suspect is a parody on "Purikyua" or "pretty "cure"...? There were magical boy transformations and lots and lots of sparkles! ✨

Last Saturday I didn't have any plans after going to the pool, but when I was hanging out at home and opened Twitter, I saw a post by the local cafe, Summer City, which does music events sometimes, that YAMOTO, the singer for the Gakuen Heaven opening theme, would be holding a mini-concert there...  I already found out a while ago that he lived in ( Read more... )

Last week at work we finished a pretty big project, and since the next one is delayed, I would have almost nothing to do this week... I still can't believe I hit for tickets for both Kanagawa shows, especially 'cause I got 2 sets of 2 tickets! In the end, it turned out that the evening show wasn't completely sold out (there were toujitsuken) so maybe I didn't need to worry... But I'm still glad chiisai_hime and I got to go two times, because our seats were really different for both shows! ( Read more... )

I can never remember the long titles they give to these events, but the Natsume Yuujinchou concert was amazing! It was my first time inside of the Kumamoto-jo hall, but it was such a pretty venue, both inside and outside!

It'd been getting increasingly cloudy throughout the day, which thankfully made it sliiiightly cooler, but it didn't seem like it would rain... we still grabbed our rain gear from the carthough, because there really was no shelter at the venue and umbrellas weren't allowed.
