I had three tests this week. I got an A in Criminology and French, which is pleasing improvement. Still waiting on Philosophy, but I'm fairly confident. I'm so glad that test was multiple choice and matching, so many people would fail if it was essay.

My dorm room is clean and organized and has these guys in it.

I woke up with a sore throat on Sunday, treated it with Quils both Day and Ny. Yesterday my mom suggested it may be my allergies acting up, since it is getting warmer and springier. Switched to Benadryl and extra Allegra. Went to bed early and slept about 9 hours, which is way more than I usually get during the school week. I'm feeling better now, ( Read more... )

When I was a child in the 90's, I remember seeing something on Nickelodeon saying that it's good luck to say "rabbit rabbit" when you wake up on the first day of a new morning. For me, summer has always meant the annual Cleaning of the Room. Except for showers and meal breaks and occasional errand-running with mom, we do nothing but clean our bedrooms until dad gets home from work in the afternoon. It hasn't been so bad this year. Rode down here to SIUC yesterday morning. It only took about three hours, which is about as long as it takes to get to my grandparent's farm. Arrived in town early, went to the mall food court for lunch because the restaurants were crowded. They had a store called Romancing the Stone, which is like Earthbound Trading Company x 3.
