Sweets!

So far I've had a good, lazy Spring Break. Lots of sitting on the couch with my laptop listening to the 90's digital music station on my satellite TV.

Yesterday morning I woke up early and went to a rummage sale at my mom's church. This is what I got:
*Clue with all the pieces. (At least, I think so. I've never actually played Clue before.)
*Sailor Moon VHS
*Power Rangers holiday special VHS ("I'm Dreaming Of A White Ranger")
*Suspenders with Santa Claus heads on them
*Monsters Inc. toys of Sully and the Abominable Snowman to go with my Mike from a previous rummage sale
*Little viewfinder-like toy with pictures from Gargoyles
*Easter Pez dispensers for the kids
*Hunchback of Notre Dame paint with water book
*Kid's chapter books based on Full House, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, and The X-Files (Yeah - a kid's novelization of an X-Files episode. I had no idea such things existed.)
*Book called The Turkey That Ate My Father. It's a prequel (I guess) to this book I had as a kid called The Christmas Tree That Ate My Mother.
*Pokemon Handbook for this new Sinnoh region. I don't like watching the show and not knowing these strange Pokemon.
*Copy of Wuthering Heights with a skiing pink elephant sticker on the front cover. How Emily Bronte intended it to be.
*Picture of Abraham Lincoln
*Shirt with a skeleton rock band on it, for my nephew.
*And my mom got a shirt, a pair of pants, and paperweight.

We got all of that for SEVEN DOLLARS. I'm still amazed.

I went out shopping again today. I went to Lane Bryant just for a new bra and ended up with a second bra, a pearl headband, and a great blouse that was on sale for like $14. But there was something wrong with their equipment and they couldn't take our check, so we have to go back tomorrow. I hope they're still holding our stuff.

Last night me and Sam had McDonalds and watched Fantastic Mr. Fox. I highly recommend it.

shopping, wtf, nostalgia, epic win
