Took my ACT on Saturday morning. I hope I did better than last time, I only wanted to increase my score by one point.
I handed out programs at the play that night, Arsenic and Old Lace. It was pretty good. I had to dress up to work, so after the ACT me and mom went to Jamestown mall to buy me a white dress blouse. Not many people go there anymore, and a lot of the stores have closed. There were only two restaurants in the food court: a Charley's for steaks/sandwiches/whatever, and a place called Hibachi Cajun Express. It's pretty much a Chinese place with some southern food thrown in for some reason. It was really weird to see green beans next to egg rolls.
So, what're everyone's Halloween plans?
I'm getting the final touches ready for my Miss Piggy costume. I'm having the GSA over on Friday, but I don't think that a lot of them are coming. Me, Shelby, and Stephen are going trick-or-treating for UNICEF, then coming back here for a marshmallow roast and watching scary videos on the Internet. (I haven't discussed it with them yet, but it's totally part of my plans.) We're hoping to go to a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show, but if the tickets are sold out, we'll just rent a movie and watch it here. Any recommendations?
And I've got a party for the Twilight Club after school on Thursday, making red velvet cookies for that. Yum.
