Went to Value Village to get peices for my Miss Piggy costume, ended up spending more money than I wanted to. A bright purple raincoat is cool, but maybe not $12 cool.
Went to the Goodwill after that and bought a BEST OF NICKTOONS CD. We're talking Nickelodeon jingles, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Ren & Stimpy... it's pretty amazing. I only wish it wouldn't have been cartoon-exclusive. I could use with some Hey Dude or Salute Your Shorts.
Have tests in Biomed and Statistikz next week. Biomed's not so bad, but Stat? Uggggh.
Oh, got report cards. A's in everything (101 in Psychology!), except for an 86 B in Stat. This bothers me.
I wrote the most amazing poem in the world.
"Roses are red
Candlejack"
I have to take my ACT at 8:00 am tomorrow. I got a
30 when I took it back in April, but a 31 gets me the Bright Flight scholarship and about $2000 every year I'm in college. I got a 22 on the math section last time, and assuming my other scores stay the same, I'd need a 26 or 27 to get that 31. So I'm going to do practice problems before I fall asleep.
Which should be soon. I couldn't get to sleep on Sunday, and I've been tired all week.
Our school play is Arsenic and Old Lace, and my friend Stephen plays Teddy. I'm working the door tomorrow night. I get community service hours, and I get to see the play for free! I'll miss the very beginning and end, though. Hopefully I stay until right before the curtain call so I can see how it ends.
My ACT is at West too. On a Saturday I'll probably be there for just as long as I would on a normal school day. *headdesk*
Me, Mashi, and a few GSA members will be trick-or-treating for UNICEF this Halloween. (Of course.) Hopefully, we'll also be going to a midnight audience participation Rocky Horror Picture Show. If there are still tickets left. *crosses fingers* If not, I say we just trick-or-treat our way to Blockbuster and back and rent something.
I started reading Guilty Pleasures, the first of the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton. She's from around here, and the books are set in St. Louis, which I absolutely love. I'm not very far yet, but I'm really enjoying it. And my cousin gave me a whole stack of them, so I'm set for a while.
