Authors Notes: It’s official - I am mad. Having started the houndxmirage Three's a Charm challenge, flarn_fanfic said how she wished someone was doing something similar for redxinferno. And I’m easily suggestible when it comes to that pairing. So I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day?

December 23 - zenith
Inferno wasn’t exactly sure he could do it. How could he ask a mech at the zenith of his career to give up? After the security mech had finished his job, Inferno had kept in touch, courting the smaller mech and things had been going well. Now Inferno wanted to take the next step. But having a consort that worked was frowned upon.
He knew in his spark he couldn’t ask Red Alert to stop doing what he loved. He just couldn’t.
Deciding to just ask Red Alert the question, and let things happen, he felt better. Tradition be damned.
