Yesterday...
Yesterday I helped sort through and box up donated clothes for flood victims. It looked a little like the world's biggest, most unruly garage sale. I took cell phone pics but keeperofthecats has the memory card for my phone and is gone, so I will post them when she gets back. There was a huge truck full of just boxes and boxes of stuff, most of it good but some not (we couldn't keep/use anything badly stained or torn, no underwear if it wasn't new, no unmatched shoes, etc). Bran and cousin Greg and I went; well, they got there long before me but I finally rolled out of bed and strolled across the field to the Community of Christ church. It felt good to be able to volunteer finally; most things I haven't been able to do/help with for flood recovery because of health reasons so I've just basically stayed back and given money. Which, I know, helps, but it makes me feel like I'm not really helping.
