Why?!
I love Jpop ii. I get my music almost exclusively from their forums. Sure I have other sources for my J-Pop, but they are by far the best. Now, the board that posts links for the older J-Pop stuff often hides the link to d/l the file until you comment on the thread. They essentially want you to say "Thank you"
A fews ago they posted a thread saying that "Copy and Pasted comments or comments that are one line do not show your gratitude!" or something to that effect. Prior to that, my posts had more or less always been "Thanks for sharing!". That's really all I have to say to them...thank you. That's all I expected from people when they downloaded stuff I posted.
So, anyway, I started adding things like "I've been wanting to hear more of this artist" after my "Thanks for shaing." Then tonight, I was downloading some "Skoop on Somebody." I regrettably only posted "Thanks for Sharing!" in response to those threads. After I download the music and sort through the files and then I click back and I get a screen that informs me: Your IP address or account was not allowed to this forum.
So, I try logging out...I get the message again. I switch to Wataru, log onto an unsecured network and try the site again. No change in results. I try logging out of my username, no change. I change my IP address...no change. I log back onto our Wireless Network...same story...same results.
With the cookies cleared and with a new browser (Safari), I access J-Pop ii once again. I try to register for a new account, but registration has been disabled. So I figure, what the hell...and I try logging in. I get the accursed blocked account message. I guess I am really banned. Lame. I wish people on the internet wouldn't take themselves so seriously.
Again...yes, there are other sites for getting music from. So, the expansion of my collection won't suffer that much...but...this site is by far the best. This site had become crack to me almost instantly. I need it back. Perhaps it's only a 24hr ban. Let's hope.
