I've decided this is my new motto:
"Even though it’s evening, I’ll blast some gaudy, noisy music.
I’ll party until morning, in a one-man-show."
Granted...that's a translation of the line. But basically, I blast my noisy (gaudy to some) J-Music from dusk til dawn. And I'm not against calling myself a one-man-show in a non-freak show way.
It's from a classic J-Song 「勝手にしやがれ」("Katte ni Shiyagare"/"Do As You Please"). Last night, I discovered a cover by Matsumoto Tak and Inaba Koshi (of B'z fame). While both parts of B'z are singing this song, it is not a B'z song. In 2003, Matsumoto produced a cover album of classic J-Pop songs. He worked with the lead singers of other bands. And of course, he worked with his B'z bandmate (lifemate?) Inaba Koshi (the embodiment of cool).
- Fukuyama Masaharu's cover is vastly inferior. Sorry Masha-nii.
