In which activism cannot escape cynicism
For such a hair-trigger hypersensitive lot, hardcore feminists have made one hilarious oversight- their "empowerment" symbol. Here, ladies and gentlemen, is that symbol.
This is obviously a "womyn" (or possibly a "grrrrrrl") getting fisted in the coot. Am I the only one that sees this? I seriously doubt it. Am I the only one who finds this wildly funny? I also seriously doubt it.
I'd strongly suggest changing it to something a little more subtle and less undermining if you don't want snickers behind your back. Unless it's a Snickers bar, in which case, if you're hungry, why wait?
