I've been in San Francisco for the past day and a half for business, along with Liam and my sister Carly, who took care of Liam while I was in meetings yday. I think I blocked out how grueling the 3-week growth spurt is. The boy is wearing me out! And it's been serious work to stay hydrated. I honestly couldn't guess how much water and chocolate milk I've had to drink today to stay on top of things, and mostly, it's been me chugging liquid down like a man in the desert! Bill was holding Liam while I was having a bit to eat and he started sucking on Daddy's arm, looking for his "baby snacks." Lo and behold, he left a hickey on his dad's arm!!

(now, if only Bill will let me take a picture of it for Liam's baby book!)

We survived if only barely. The day started out rocky with both Abbey and Liam waking up within minutes of each other, me needing to pee desperately, and Bill still being asleep.
