Heights of hyperplasia
My God, I thought I had it bad with my acne.
The man hasn't had surgery to remove the tumor 'til now because he's a Jehovah's Witness and I think they don't allow blood transfusions - something that would be necessary in most invasive surgeries - in their faith. What is it that tells people to keep holding on to their beliefs in such extreme circumstances?
In other news, three of my flatmates have left for their homes for Christmas and now there are just three of us in the flat - we're all leaving, coincidentally, on Monday. I'm sort of eating all the perishable food that I bought - pasta sauce, vegetables, the massive onion, bread etc. I have half a mind to take the broccoli with me back to Dubai because I know I won't be able to use all of it before I leave. I'll just have to try to eat healthy for once.
