Bad News
My mom's cancer progressed a lot, I guess, so they're taking her off of the milder oral chemotherapy and putting her back on the harder stuff. She'll lose her hair again and is in a lot of pain right now. Not exactly the news I was hoping to come home to. I'm trying to do as much around my house right now as I can, so that she doesn't have to. She's on SO much pain medication, it's ridiculous. We think it's messing with her head a bit because she locked her keys in her car the other day and lost her debit card and I guess coming home one day drove right past all the exits for College and Rawson and ended up almost in Racine.
In any case, I know I made promises, kinda, to see a lot of people this weekend but because I'm trying to get a ton of laundry done and some shopping for myself and my nephews and family came over... it may not happen. My spring break is in just two weeks, so hopefully I can see more people then? I'm real sorry, but this was not anything I expected.
