took a trip to mushroomville, wake plans

Aug 17, 2009 15:02

On saturday Bear and I took shrooms again.  It was wonderful.  His boss invited us over, and six people split an ounce.  They were creeper mushies fo' sho'...and the fact that we only had one small bowl to smoke didn't help.

It was a weird situation and kind of played out like this - People started showing up at the house around seven, including us.  There were several people there to get their drink on, a couple pregnant chicks to be designated drivers, and those of us eating shrooms.  The people drinking didn't know we were shrooming for a coupple hours...and they split when they found out.  We ate them around eight-ish, Bear and I went outside to smoke our bowl, and then...............nothing happened for a little more than an hour.  Just as I was about to start bitching about getting bunk shrooms, they fucking hit me like a wall.  I was walking into the house after taking Panda out to pee when all of the sudden I was trippin'.  It was crazy!!  We all started peaking at around 11:30, and that's when everyone split.  Even two of the people on shrooms.  One of the drunk guys just wandered off, no one cared or went looking for him they just went home.  And then there was four of us left alone, tripping balls.
The guys house that we were at (Bears boss) was really super nice, with pretty candle holders, and shit on the walls.  They had 3 Van Gogh replicas hung up and Oh. My. Goddess.   It was fucking amazing!  They were moving, flowing, there was faces everywhere in them...wow.  We have to get those paintings now.  HAVE TO.  All in all it was a great trip.  No one freaked out, no one got sad and cried at all, and we didn't trash the place either.  We just giggled for the most part, or sat there staring at the paintings watching them change colors, patterns, moods.  Awesome.  I have missed tripping sooo much.  When we lived in Chi, there was like a 2 1/2 year period wher we did them all the time.  Seriously like twice a month or more.... and this time it had been over a year.

In less exciting news, last week I settled on a date and location for my fathers wake.  It will be in the afternoon, on the 23rd (next sunday) at Sunnyside park in Sweet Home, Or.  It's a potluck and BYOB.  I doubt anyone reading this will be making the trip.  If you are, sweet, I'm gonna get shitty drunk.
Boy was there a lot of drama in planning this.  The motorcycle group he used to ride with has split into two separate groups and they no longer associate with eachother, but they all want to go to the service.  Half won't go if it's at a persons house that they don't get along with, the other half wanted to throw their own..ect and on and on.  It was ninth grade girl bullshit if you ask me.  Daddy would have been pissed at all this petty scwabbling.  Also, some people were under the mistaken impression that we would be scattering the ashes as a large group at the wake, and that people would get to take some if they wanted, to keep.  Or that I would give the ashes to some guys to go scatter in a river in Idaho or some shit.  FUCK THAT NOISE!!!!

Other than that, life is pretty bland.  The mushies were the highlight of my last month.  Daddy always loved psychedelics.

Oh, I also went to a club last night to watch some friends in a band.  It was a metal club, and everyone there was in black, with weird hair, or no hair, lots of piercings and tattoos.  It was very cool.  We stuck out like sore thumbs.  The band was fucking cool - they are like a satire/metal band, and they also do some heavy covers of songs.  I loved it.  One of the guys Eli, is a coworker and friend of Bears, and the other Denver, worked with him for awhile and had a huge crush on me.  He's like 34, with long dark hair, and was always talking about how he was gonna steal me away and be with me forever.  It was hilarity.  I wish more men would profess their love for me.  I adore being adored.

I also went to a bar for the first time the night that I picked up Daddy's ashes.  I had a vodka collins (my new favorite drink as of late.)  I switched to vodka from tequila about a year ago...not entirely sure why tho.  Bear had a whisky on the rocks, such a typical man drink.  then we went home, smoked some bowls and called it a night
