Hacks
Just so folks know: In case it's not painfully obvious, I hardly ever use this any more. As much as I would love to, I just don't have the time to keep this up-to-date. Heck, as much as I wish that I could, I don't have time to read everyone else's updates here any more. Sorry! :(
If you want to keep updated with what I'm up to, the place I tend to post updates most often is on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/whyaylooh).
The reason I bring this up, is that I just got a disturbing message that someone from a Russian IP address successfully logged onto my account here. No, this was not a phishing email; I know how to sniff those out. Obviously, I've changed my password -- the reason I logged on here today to begin with -- but I just wanted to let folks know, in case weird stuff starts showing up here.
And, as nice as it was for LiveJournal to alert me to the login from an unknown location, this pretty much kills my confidence in the security here that someone was able to hack my account. Another reason for me to keep my life update stuff elsewhere.
I'm not saying that this is the end, and I'll never return. "Never say never," and all that. But, at this point, I think it best to consider this little babble-blog closed.
