CSI Crossover, Part 1: CSI: Miami

Nov 09, 2009 21:47

So, I decided I would write a running commentary for each portion of the CSI three-way crossover, and voice my opinions, thoughts, and comments on the events as they occur in the episode.  So here we go.

She's gotta be absolutely terrified if she's driving on the rims of her wheels.

Not surprising that H is worried the minute he sees a worried mom.  And he would promise to help.  Especially after hearing that phone message.

It has been way too long since I've seen Miami.  I have no idea who those last two people in the credits are.  That's confusing to start out with.

Can't make any comments about the interaction between Calliegh and the other CSI.  I don't know him.

Ohh, blood pattern testing.

And who's the black guy?  Damn he's tall.

Ryan and Natalia at the hotel, trying to find out who the missing girl was last seen with.  Ryan looks seriously different from last time I saw Miami.  A bit heavier in the face, I think.

Nice response to the whole "I could get you on a magazine cover" line..

Ok, if Frank Tripp is still there, then why do they have the new black cop?  Is that their way of pulling in minorities?

And the guy with the ponytail is new to me too.

I don't think I've watched enough Miami to make this work.  I don't know the characters well enough anymore.  I mean, I doubt H and Calliegh have changed too much, but I haven't seen Delko,

Heh, those two kids are pissing off H.

Heh, turtle shell.  Nice.  Ok, Black cop is Walter.

Oh god.  Looks like that arm was ripped off.  And now a leg.

Yeah, Ryan is most definitely heavier in the face than the last time I saw him.

And I don't know the ME.

Oh, H is pissed now.  Not a good thing.  HA!  Nice, got the cops to slam him against the car.

I miss Alexx.... That's when I stopped watching MIami!  When Alexx stopped being the ME.  That would explain why I don't know so many of the current characters.

Hmmm, here's the Vegas connection: vic 2 was in Nevada for a while.

Grrrr, should be Nick, or Greg crossing through.  Not the newbie.  Or Cath, because she's been to Miami before.

And H would be sad about Warrick's death, seeing as he met and worked with him for a case.

That Look on H's face at the "Think like a bear" comment was pretty sweet.  Amused and slightly.... skeptical.

Ok, new ME is pretty amusing.

Nice bit with the discussion on what was used to cut the vic up.

Sorry, I like having my meet cut up beforehand, not right in front of me.

Ohh, pretty extreme reaction to someone messing with knives.  Although, a good chef is very particular about their blades.

H is definitely pissed now.  Stupid cleaver boy.  You had better roll on whoever's got you in their pocket.

Langston doesn't have the same sort of charisma as H does.  Especially when angry.

Ok, more melodramatic than necessary, but that's another reason I stopped watching Miami.  Was too much about the drama.  I mean, drama and character is good, but at least have a good focus on the science too.  Vegas and NY do it well enough, even if vegas is so much more about the science/crime and the characters come second, but they are there.

"I can't be small and unthreatening!"

And down goes the bear!

Tool marks time.

That's a heck of a lot of blades.

H is getting for serious pissed now.  He doesn't want to let the killer get away, and right now he is.

Oh shit.  The killer is the creepy guy.  I should have seen that right away.  Shit man.

Ok, so, this doesn't seem nearly as good of a review as I could write, mostly because I don't really know so much of the character's stories anymore.  I really stopped watching Miami in it's sixth season, after Alexx left.  And most of the episodes I see on like, TNT and such are older episodes, when Alexx is still the ME.  So this reveiw doesn't seem very good, and I feel bad even posting it in all it's poor quality.  I apologize for it's incompleteness.  It seems like a bit of an insult to post this, when it feels so incomplete.  Sorry.
