I'm so pleased I found this hub of ingenuity. I was googling for details of Rose's Boomtown scarf and, blow me, I'm not the only person that covets one!   For once, I thought I"d knit something for myself rather than members of my family but all the wonderful things you do here have given me ideas for some choice family gifts too.

This is my first post in this community and this will also be my first time knitting a season 12 scarf.

I'm working on my first jumper, and I'm making it without a pattern. Since I have some experience sewing, and I wanted the jumper to be somewhat fitted, I'm using a shirt I cut up as a pattern. I've shaped the armholes, which I was really worried about, but now I'm not sure how to shape the shoulders!( Picture showing where I'm having problems... )
