Proclaiming the love with Crochet
So I just found out about this group through a fellow whovian's LJ and I thought I'd inrtoduce myself and share in the Doctor Who love. ^_^ Been crocheting since I was about 8, but have only truly been active with crafting things for the last 5 years. After getting bored with scarfs and clothes, I finally gave in a decided to try the amigurumi trend and I think I've found a talent in my take on it. Then once I saw Doctor Who this spring, well, it didn't take long until I started churning out these:
Eleven with and without Fez
That's all the Doctors I've made so far, but I have designs to make all of them before the year is out. And a Time Lord couldn't travel without his....
Last is the small amount of other characters I've made so far. Several New Who companions and a Dalek are in the planning/designing stages still.
The TARDIS pictured here was the original prototype pattern I made and was sadly too small in the end. It DID benefit from having a sound card in it though so that when you push on the light it made the 'Vwroop' 'Vwroop' noise. :D
Sorry this is so image heavy. I scaled down the pictures to help compensate for that hopefully without loosing any detail quality. Anyway I hope you enjoy and I look forward to seeing all the lovely projects you fellow knitters/crocheters will post in the future!
