60-70s western-type movie?
Okay, so it was an old film, but still in color. I saw it yeeeears ago on TV with my dad.
All I remember about it is that it had the stereotypical tough male protagonist and his "sidekick", or travel partner, was this woman he found in a city that was getting beaten up and harrased by local men.
The town hated her and outcasted her because they said she killed her children. But you find out later what actually happened was she had a baby, and when her husband was away, her and her baby were attacked and chased into a cave by a pack of wolves, and in order to keep their position in the cave hidden she had to smother her baby to keep it from crying, and she ended up accidentally killing it. Then her husband left her and her life was awful ever since. I don't remember ANYTHING else about the movie other than at the end of the movie she is put into the same situation again with another child, don't think it was hers, and she ended up killing all the wolves on her own.
Does anyone know what movie I'm talking about?
