Star Show
OK, there was this tv show I remember watching as a kid. I think it was the middle of the night on PBS or something, where they always showed these really old, low-budget educational films. This one I'm thinking of had this couple who came into this room that had a bunch of stars and they were shopping for one. I really don't remember much else about it, except that at the end, there's a box and they wonder what is inside. The owner of the shop shouts to try and keep them from opening the box, because it's actually a black hole. They open it and the whole show fades to black.
