I saw this sometime between 1995 at the earliest and 2005 at the latest, probably sometime within the range of 1998-2002 or so. It was- I believe- an episode of a show like Outer Limits or Twilight Zone, ie an anthology-of-weird-stories sort of thing, with a slightly unnerving or unsettling feel to the stories, though I think this show was more reality-focused? Like, as in these-might-have-happened stories as opposed to the more sci-fi stuff Outer Limits & Twilight Zone tended toward.
I don't remember much about the episode, but I think it was some sort of lovers-split-up-by-something plotline. What really stuck with me was the ending- they're both listening to the radio, and the radio plays a message for them to meet in Los Angeles at a specific time and possibly specific place. The have... at least moderately common names, and the message definitely mentions them by name, but first names only. When they meet up, a bunch of other people with the same names (and, it's implied, similar situations?) are meeting up, too. The camera sort of pulls back, I think, and there's voiceover that says something about "City of Angels".
As far as I can tell, it's not Twilight Zone or Outer Limits, and I could've sworn I'd found it again a year or two ago, but I seem to have failed to bookmark the wikipedia page of whatever show I thought it was, and now I can't find it again. I'm particularly curious about the specific episode, but I vaguely recall liking the show in general (though clearly not enough to remember the name...), so just knowing what show it was from would be great.
