Indie-folk/Native American Fusion Song?
Hey guys,
I work at The GAP, and during a shift last week I heard a song come on our playlist. It started off instrumental, for about a minute, after which were hip-hop esque vocalizations by a male singer, then more instrumentals. The music was North American Aboriginal sounding, kind of desert-y and folk-y, not quite as electronic as A Tribe Called Red (so I don't think it was them). The beat was fairly fast, enough for me to dance a bit to in the fitting room :x
The only lyrics I can remember are something about giving, or taking stars for whomever the singer was singing to.
I wish I could get the info from work, but my manager told me an official written playlist wasn't available (boo).
