short stories
I'm looking for two short stories. The first one was probably by a Russian author. It's about a man with a servant in like the seventeenth century. They go for a drive or something and one of them freezes to death in the snow.
The other book is about a man whose job is to inspect mail and report all those who appear to be anti-government. These people are then put to death. Eventually he ends up questioning the government himself but keeps up with his job and systematically reports himself.
