I took my grandma to a block sale today, and at one of the houses, I saw this pendant in a box of jewelry. I bought it because it kind of stood out to me, but now I'm wondering what the heck it's for/about/whatever.
On one side of the pendant, there's what looks like a Star of David, except the triangle that's rightside-up is much longer than the upside-down one. There's also the number "5", the written word "five" with a fancy stylized "v", and the Roman numerals "xxii", "xi", and what might be "viiii" and "v"? The "v"s are fancy and stylized as well, with curly tails, so they might not actually be the letter "v".
On the other side, there's a couple of swirly designs inside some circles? I don't know how else to describe them.
The pendant is made out of some kind of nice solid metal--it doesn't feel like it came out of a quarter machine or anything. It's also about the size of a silver dollar, if that means anything?
Please tell me, oh great internet, what the heck I bought today. Any ideas?
