Scientist dies in fall (black ops)

I recently saw a program on cable where they were discussing the of a famous scientist who died in a fall from his hotel room on the 10th floor. (I think it might have been in NYC.) His death was ruled a suicide but there was always some question about it on his family's part because of the angle at which he fell. He had also been a part of an "LSD weekend" where several other people (including other scientists) were given LSD w/o their knowledge a few weeks before his death. Many years later his body was exhumed and other tests done that proved suicide was unlikely and he was probably murdered.

I should know this but I can't think of anyway to narrow it down. I think the program probably dealt with conspiracy theories or something similar. Help please?
