Movie help?
This film looked like it was released in the 30s-40s. I saw it many, many years ago. Maybe around the mid-90s.
A boy and a girl, possibly siblings, go on an adventure accompanied by their black cat that had been turned into a tall, sultry-looking woman with dark hair. In human and cat form, she wore a green satin ribbon around her neck.
They journey through a forest (I think) and toward the end of the film the three of them end up in this Heaven type environment. The sultry woman might have turned back into a cat at this point. This Heaven is filled with teenaged boys and girls who are actually babies that have yet to be born. They wore pink and blue toga-style outfits. One of the girls has to leave because it's time to be born -- I believe she was destined to be the main character's younger sister -- but she loves one of the boys and doesn't want to leave him behind.
This was either on Bravo or AMC. Infinite cookies to the person who knows the title. :)
