Korean Reality Shows!
This May I got to go to Japan again, hurray! During the evening at the hotel though, I couldn't stop myself from watching the Korean channel all night long! It was so cute! Now I'd like it if someone could help me remember the names of two specific shows.
One was about a couple who were in the process of getting married. They did things such as: show each other their tux and dress, take professional pictures in traditional Korean robes, etc etc. I've done a lot of research for this one, and it makes me believe that it might be "We Got Married". It definitely wasn't from the first season, and I can't find any clips from the second season (where there is only one couple). But I don't want to believe it is We Got Married because it's scripted and I was so "awhhhh"-y about it. I'll be crushed if it wasn't real! Other info I can give is that the girl in the couple appeared older than the boy. Also, in one of the beginning scenes, the boy was laying on his bed and his cell rang and it played some american song like "mad" by neyo.
The second show was really long. In the beginning two teams of girls wrestling (one at a time) to take 50 won off of each other's foot. One girl had tights on and they all laughed really hard at her. The MC (?s) were boys and I think I remember one being really really funky looking. Then after they all took turns doing that, the two teams went to the grocery store and got help buying ingredients for some Korean dish. Then they went back to the set and started cooking. One team realized they didn't remember to buy something, so they showed her like running in the woods back to the grocery store. Then later it shows the other team spilling the squid (???) over the edge of the bowl into the sink and picking it back up!! Then one of the girls cheated and stole something from the other team. In the end they had this old cute Korean lady cook and the two MC's trying each of their dishes. The non-cheaters won. :) :) :)
