Book help!

I'm looking for my wife, for a paperback book from the 1990's. The title has something to do with a butterfly, but she's unsure of the relevance. It was about a high-class sex club, but more about creating people's fantasies for them. The main character eventually grows up to run this club.

Any ideas?
