Recent cinema outings - Venus was very good. O'Toole was great, obviously, but I also loved Leslie Phillips as his friend, a very nicely judged performance. Highly recommended. Last couple of nights i've been to the theatre to see Continental Divide. Go read immortalradical's review here, as its far more coherent than anything i've managed to get down. The plays feed into each other - one concentrates on the republican side and the other the democrat, with some nice mirroring between the two showing up once you have seen both. I'm enjoying this late burst of summer we are being treated to at the moment. So i popped out to the co-op wearing a skimpy strappy top and no bra. This is not a subtle outfit (although comfy in the heat) so i don't really mind guys shouting stuff out at me. Its all a kind of ego boost after all. I just wish one of them could be cute.
