This weekend I went to Meghan's wedding. It was very nice. It was a Catholic wedding, and I hadn't been to one before. I'm Methodist, so I knew some of the creeds and prayers, but they either continued on or stopped abruptly. After ushering, I operated the video camera, so I didn't have to worry about the kneeling, standing, and sitting workout.
Speaking of the video camera, my camera must have something against receptions. Like at Bud and Christine's wedding, the camera worked fine during the ceremony and photos, but didn't work at all as soon as I walked into the reception hall. However, this time it started working eventually, but of course right after the toasts and first dance.
After the wedding, I went up near Fayetteville to stay with some friends that came down for the wedding, too. We went looking at Halloween stuff before I left to go home on Sunday.
I received my Harry Potter robe in the mail, but they sent me a child's size robe instead of an adult size. I'm going to give them a call about that. Hopefully I can get one in time for Halloween. However, I'm beginning to question my coworkers' commitment to their idea for a Harry Potter theme. I was looking for some rat stuff just in case. Of course, I haven't found anything good.
Oh, and Happy Birthday to me. :)
