I started a KAL dishcloth months ago. I didn't finish it, but I always knew where it was. I must have taken it to my father's when I went there recently. Did I forget it there? I wanted to finish the cloth tonight, but now I can't find the project.

Oh, well.

I guess it will show up.

Sakura for dinner tonight. Yum-MY! We had to wait nearly an hour for a table (long story involving a very nice hostess who was on her second day on the job). Thank goodness the meal was worth the wait.

I finished my first knitted dishcloth on Friday. I learned a new stitch: the yarn over (yo). It creates a lacey effect by putting a hole in your knitting ( Read more... )

That's the knitting method my former daycare provider taught me. So, whenever I looked at books on "how to knit", they NEVER matched wht my daycare provider had taught me. Eventually, I let go of her method and re-learned using the throw method. I'm going to try the Continental method some day, too.

I'm glad to finally know what the 'problem' was!
