KADD

I coined a new phrase today (I think) in a knitting forum.

KADD - Knitting Attention Deficit Disorder

Said disorder surfaces when one is tired of knitting (repetitive stitches or anything at all). The knitter will be reluctant to go back to knitting for fear of being bored. The knitter may quickly tire of knitting soon after the knitting session has begun. The knitter may be easily distracted; simple projects may remain on the needles for unecessarily long periods of time. (Subject has exhibited this tendency in other areas of her life. A project is near completion, requiring only 'final touches' when the subject abandons the project indefinitely, sometimes forever.)

I am not sure of the treatment or cure for KADD. Ongoing research may offer promising solutions. Treatment protocols and suggestions are welcome.
