My lack of posting does mean I haven't been writing. But that's a good thing. I always have to force myself to stop after completeing a novel. I'm afraid the illness has kept me from writing very much at all this last week. But I really wanted to get back to it this week. I have begun work on Volume III of "Soul Mates" and, as I guessed, there is little work to be done on it. I have completed the first one hundred pages already. This should be the easiest of the four to work on because so little needs to be done to it. I've been ill this week, which put a big dent in my work plans. But it turns out it all happened for a reason because the time away from writing, and the fact that I was too ill to even think about any of the novels I want to work on, brought with it some new inspiration ( Read more... )

I have now officially ended all work on "Olimpia Valley". Both today and yesterday I added 4,000 words to the additional pages I was working on, with the today's 4,000 completing the work. Now I have to sit back and let the book breathe for a month or two before I open it up and start work on the re-write. Until that time this should be the last ( Read more... )

The weather got really warm so I had a naughty week away from the writing to soak up the rays. I probably won't get a proper holiday this year (nor last year!) so I don't feel too guilty about it.
