Cookie, the Tiny Dru

Aug 29, 2007 21:02

Meet Cookie, my latest doll. She is a Tiny Dru by the Tonner doll company. She's Tiny Betsy's black friend. At least, I presume they are friends. Tiny Betsy being Tonners remake of the Betsy McCall doll. I had a Betsy McCall, but all I have left of her are a pair of tiny shoes which are identical to the ones that came with Tiny Dru.

She is the cutest thing, all that I could have wished for. She's turned out to be a real live wire and I'm having a lot of fun photographing her. This post is mostly just photos of her cuteness. Since most of you are Flickr contacts of mine, I better tell you that behind the LJ Cut are NEW! Never before seen anywhere photos of Cookie!

Here she is in her stock playsuit. She's the basic Tiny Dru from 2006. She originally comes with two little white bows in her hair that are sewn right to her head! I had to surgically remove them. If you think she's refined because she likes tea and modern art, think again!

In a Licca dress that is perfect for her. She can wear this over the top, frilly stuff. What a sweet little girl!

She can stand all by herself, if she stands still and at attention. But she seldom does that!

Cookie! Watch out! She's fearless.

And, finally, the never seen anywhere photos promised...

Cookie performs a dance choreographed by herself, “Ode to Back-To-School”

And that's Cookie!  Thank you, Ladies and Gentlemen.
