Here is my wish list! I'm gonna count down from least to most wanted to create some dramatic tension. Without further ado:
1. Butterfly Wings Petite Blythe. I've been taking more pictures of my Petites lately. They are so cute and easy to take pics of. I fall into, then out of, then back into a Petite thing.
That's mint green hair. I presume she does have a mouth.
2. Green haired Kurhn made in Korea. Has to be the green hair. This is not a good picture. I've seen some on Flickr that make this doll look pretty good.
3. Punkaa Street J Doll by Jun Planning. Some reports about J doll bodies have them not so well made. This doll is so pretty though. A little realistic for me, but I find I have a growing tolerance for realistic dolls.
4. Cloud 9 Ball Blythe. Hard to tell what she looks like from one of these sketches, but she is a bowler! She's an exclusive so she may be too hard for me to get anyway.
5. AeYin made in Hong Kong. A delightfully unrealistic doll. Eee! I want one bad!
Last, in other words, number One on the WellerMade Want List: Asakusa Ichimaru by Madame Alexander. She would not hold this lofty position if I had not seen and examined her in the toy store flesh. She is a geisha Cissette, about 10" high. Beautifully made costume and she's entirely chalk white. I never had a real interest in a Cissette before (although I liked 'em OK, not enough to buy), but this one is so fab! The picture does not do her justice. Her tiny eyes close. Want, want, want her.
So there you have it. I'm waiting (supposed to be) for dept to be all paid off and extra money to flow in before buying any of these dolls. Maybe the list order will change while I wait. In the meantime, compiling this list is supposed to make me feel more patient. I don't know if that's really working or not.
I have fallen off the wagon a bit. I bought a Tiny Dru on sale. She came! So cute! I also preordered, (that's OK, right? I don't have to pay until later when, according to my plan, I will have disposable money) preordered, I say, a "Slow Smile" Momoko. My first Momoko. I find the knowledge that a doll is coming helps me not spend. Makes long wait preorders a good thing.
Next up: The new doll; Cookie, the Tiny Dru.
