Vibes needed at 6:30 PM PST today...
I got a response to the Craigslist posting for Precious. Some students from Lewis & Clark College are coming over to meet her and check her out tonight. Hopefully, they'll fall in love with her and take her home with them tonight as well.
I've got all her stuff ready to go: duplex kiddy condo, reflective heat kitty pad, water bowl, food bowl, several feather toys, 4 containers of snacky treats, two brand new bags of Drs Foster Smith kitty food (that she recently started turning her nose up at), a partial bag of Purina Naturals Cat food, a carrier with a towel inside, a ribbon toy, a cardboard scratching box, and various other oddments. You should see how big a pile it is sitting in my living/dining room.
This is the only legitimate response I've gotten to listing her for adoption and it has to work, because Snickers can't take being attacked constantly anymore.
So, any good kitty adoption thoughts you can send to SE Portland this afternoon would be greatly appreciated!
