Or perhaps it is a glitch in the system. I left for lunch and to run some errands at 11:30 AM. Got to the bank near Pioneer Square, and the temperature reading on that building stated 27 degrees fahrenheit. Left the bank and went to lunch at Carl's Jr, and then started walking back to my building. When I got to the Seattle's Best Coffeee temperature reader around 12:20 PM, their gauge said 17 degrees fahrenheit. That is pretty frightening to have a 10 degree drop in about an hour!
Okay, just checked
http://www.weather.com for my work zip code: 97204 and it says 27 degrees but that it feels like 15! For my home zip code: 97233 it says 27 degrees, but feels like 13! And Gresham, where I will be for a meeting tonight from 7-9 PM, zip code 97030 states that it is 27 with a windchill of 13 degrees, but there are winds 22 mph and gusting to 35 mph. Oh joy!
If only we were getting snow with this icy blast, it would be worth it!
