So freaking beautiful outside today. I was out by and in the pool all morning reading for school, reading for fun and listening to music. Ahh this is the life hope I have many summer days like this. So far this is my second did the same thing on monday. I need to buy some new pool floats though. Only have one left as of now and thankfully its my favorite one. I just showered and got ready to go out. I am going to go to Foxwoods to play bingo with my mom, grandma and uncle. We are leaving around 430. Ran around to many stores yesterday looking for bingo markers for them. The Iparty on Rt2 where Laura and I bought ours last week was sold out, so I ended up trying Ac Moore and Christmas Tree Shop neither sold them. Then I remembered another Iparty was in Garden City and thankfully they had plenty in stock.
I started my summer class yesterday it seems like it should be fun. All I have to do is minimal reading in the textbook I got for free thank god because my teacher wrote it and write three journal entries a week and a three page paper due on the last day of class about a building in Newport of my choice. I hope to god I can use my dads ezpass if he is home when I have that class because the toll back and forth would be a total of $8 each of the 9 times I have to go. I guess parking sucks there so I will be leaving extra early don't feel like missing any classes because we walk all around and if I am not there at 930 when we start walking about I will be screwed and probably never find the class. Yesterday was just a regular lecture and setup of everything we will be doing at URI. I worked for 4 hours afterward. Linda and I had an awesome time setting up this ridiculously complicated photo printer which we got for free. Haha it is the craziest setup to print just one freaking picture we were cracking up, but we got it going. I met Hannah the new girl i will be working with. She seems really nice and I actually proctored one of her exams that she missed last semester for a professor. Becky is in my class. I feel bad for her though because she commutes all the way from Andover Ma...extremely long commute, but glad I know someone in the class.
So what else since the last time I updated. The Coheed concert with Alex was fun. We got there without hitting relatively little traffic, which is awesome for that area. Walked to Panera a few streets away to eat. We had pretty good spots and I could see fairly well. Two bands played before them Torch and Circa Survive...didn't really care for them couldn't take the lead singer's voice from Circa Survive after 3 songs loved his amazing dance movements though, which Alex video taped with his Flip. Coheed amazingly enough played the three songs I knew and actually like..the rest of their songs I don't care for lol, but they are my loves favorite bands so I take it and I have always wanted to go see them with him, since he goes to many concerts of the bands I like.
The next day after the concert Alex stayed home from work due to his terrible cough and not feeling well. I went to the doctors with him. Then to get his medicine and then shopping at the market. We both bought stuff. I bought this disgusting vomit inducing, gag making texture of a soup..butternut squash ewwww words cannot explain the disgustingness. I love squash, but this soup was horrendous. After our food shopping spree we returned to his house and I cooked it for us. Had some chicken, vegetables and pasta with general tsos sauce in wraps yummm. Spent the rest of the day relaxing at his house. I watched Disney Princesses and Double Double Toiling Trouble with Natalie. Had not watched that movie in ages since I was little. Afterward watched tv and Dead Snow with Alex. A movie about nazi zombies, it was interesting.
Wednesday I hung out with Laura and Steph. We all went to Foxwoods together to play bingo. Got there early and ate at Panera. Then headed over to purchase our bingo stuff. Soooo many freaking people were there lol. I could not believe the size of the hall. I guess it was extra busy due to the mystery envelop and bigger winnings. None of us won anything and I lost my voice, but obviously not because I had to yell bingo so many time, I wish. We had to make the best things on our cards in order to win like a crazy small kite, crazy pyramid, goal post, diamonds, X's and a bunch of other stuff I have never heard before. I was nervous that I was not going to be able to keep track of 9 cards at a time or even be able to tell when I made the correct shape lol. It went on for a long time a little past midnight because they had technical difficulties in the beginning. After bingo we went to eat at Fuddruckers and left after that.
Saturday I went to graduation at RIC to see Laura and Steph graduate!! Wooot Woot Congrats again you guys! It was crazzyyy soo many people everywhere. I did not bother waiting in the long traffic line to get into campus I parked on the main road outside it Fruit Hill Ave. I amazingly got on of the last 5 chairs from the stacks people were taking them from. Some of the rudest people of course had to come setup their chairs right next to mine. They were making the rudest comments the entire time about things people said in their speeches or about people in general...calling them fags, fruitcakes, homos, idiots and so on. I wanted to punch the two of them. They were husband and wife perfect match rudeness wise. The ceremony was quite loing, but worth it..I think about 3hrs. I met Laura, Emily and Laura's friends who also graduated in the end. We took some pictures and chatted quick before departing. Did not get to see Steph because she ended up leaving early due to the craziness. Alex wanted to hang out afterward before I had to go to my uncle Davids 50th surprise party. I went and picked him up and we got Iggy's, yummm. It was a long wake, but well worth it. I love having doughboys, chowder and clamcakes there. After we were finished I went and dropped him back off and returned home to go to the party. It was fun got to see everyone I have not seen in awhile. We did not stay long however and I ended up going back over Alex's house for a sleepover. I pretty much feel asleep right away once I got there though.
Sunday night was the Lost season finale and end of the series in general. Laura came over after I got home from work. I cooked some tacos to eat and we watched the 2.5 hour episode. So I guess it did not answer all the questions, but I still liked it. I have to say that one of my favorite seasons is still the 1st and I am thinking about rewatching it at some point. I liked Locke better as a good guy and I love the scene with the orange in his mouth haha. I watched the Jimmy Kimmel show that most of the cast was on and the three alternate endings, which were dumb. I only liked the one with the survivor guy the rest were stupid and I didn't get the last one at all because it has some old comedian in it that I had never heard of before. The only reason I found out who he was, was because my mom was watching it with me and she told me.
Well I better get going...almost time for my uncle and grandma to come over. Tomorrow I have class and work until six and then I get to get stuck in the beach traffic on Rt 4 foreverrr like Tuesday.
