Dick Cheney recently had this to say about Scooter Libby, who goes on trial tomorrow for lying to a grand jury:

What's not so well-known about the song "Sandstorm," which is often played at Lancaster and is canon at some other sites, is that its original title was "Gerald Ford Is Dead." Seriously, they essentially said the Person of the Year was everybody. Maybe next year they will pick nobody.

Al Gore has been making the rounds of various talk shows (Today, Oprah, Jay Leno) to promote An Inconvenient Truth, which just came out on DVD. There is talk that he is also angling for an Academy Award nomination, or possibly preparing for a presidential run in 2008. According to CNN.com, Lindsay Lohan has not had a drink in one whole week! Excuse me while I express my underwhelmedness. Commenting about this, she says "I haven't had a drink in seven days. Or anything. I'm not even legal to, so why would I?"

Apparently she was not underage last week, even though she is now.
