The future has a date
I always knew that one day EQC would contact me to say they were on there way to fix my house, and could I please pack and move out. But that was always sometime in the future. The future now has a date: 15 May.
I have to vacate my house for three weeks so the construction workers can move in and do all the fixy things that need doing, then paint the place up all nice and new again.
I can't say I'm looking forward to it, I just kept hoping it would always be sometime in the future. The future has arrived.
