A (Naughty) Cat Tale, or the Cat Burglar

Mar 14, 2013 15:23

My colleague has just had a phone call from her husband. He got home from work and went looking for the cat, Milo, to give him his insulin shot as he is diabetic. Milo has a collar that dings when you press the button, so T is following the dings, goes outside, and there he sees the cat sitting in the window of the next door neighbours house, happily suning himself.

Problem 1: The neighbour is in Thailand and won't be back for another two weeks
Problem 2: They assume he got in when someone came over to water the plants, but they don't know who that person is, or when they will return, or how to contact them.
Problem 3: The cat needs his insulin very soon

So T. rings the police, and explains the situation. The police have tried to contact the owner of the house, but he is out of contact for the next 24 hours. So when last heard from T, the police are on their way to the house, with a locksmith, to break in to get the cat out!

That's one cat that's going to be in a lot of trouble very soon!
