OMG DRESS
SO ...My MoH and I went to David's Bridal today for dress shopping, and...
That's my dress :3 Pardon the circled out face, haha. I am a wee bit shy.
Anyways, yeah what a great experience. Our consultant was really nice. (I know they're supposed to be because they get commission, but she was honest with me too.)
The dress that I got is an Oleg Cassini, and it is discontinued. I got the LAST one, and it was just like one size or a half size too snug for me. It won't be a problem though, because we're going to turn the back of it into a corset-lace up type thing instead of a plain zip up.
I mean, I'm going to work out a little bit and diet some so hopefully I can avoid the alteration fee, but I just think it'll look even prettier with the corset in the back, y'know? haha. I am super excited.
Dress was on sale for $799 due to being clearanced... yikes. 200$ more than I wanted to spend, but omg I just... cried big huge Dumbo's mama-sized tears when I saw myself in it. I'm not too keen on the veil though, so we got a blusher instead. Wish I'd taken pics with that on, lol.
AHHH So that's it for the dress... until July of next year. :O It seems so close, yet so far away. Hum.
