Where are you getting your invitations from?

weddingpaperdivas.com spell checked our invitations for us and changed a few things, with our notification, before printing. That included when and where to capitalize and when and where to use numerals instead of words. I'm not sure where you're getting them from.

To me they look fine in wording, but those other mentioned above specifications I'm not sure of. :)

Very nice! I'm sure they'll send you a proof beforehand and check the grammar and everything but I'd double check just in case.

And for the return cards we said:

Will Be There:
Will Be There in Spirit:

haha, simple...

As far as the date on the response card, is there a date by which you need to provide a head count to your venue or caterer?

No my fiance's family is doing all the cooking and the venue doesnt need a final head count so I wasnt sure whats traditional as far as time frames.

My fiances family is all originally from Mexico and he says there they dont even do invites so my invites and STD's were weird for most of them. I'm not sure they'll even fill our the response card but putting down how many people can come would never happen! lol He keeps telling me more people will show up.

Did you/are you not doing STD's or have a lot of people traveling? Sorry I know you didn't ask, but those dates just seem pretty spaced out to me.

We are doing STDs, and we'll be sending those out in May/June. However, about 160 of the 200 people getting invites will have to travel at least 1,000 miles, which means taking time off of work for travel and the travel time itself. We wanted to give folks PLENTY of notice, especially since almost all of them will definitely want to come. The way we figure it, the STD will serve to let people know "Hey, you've got to get plane tickets!" and then the invite will serve to say "Hey, if you haven't gotten tickets already, you'll probably really want to start thinking about it!"

The round of STDs will also give us a chance to make sure all our addresses are correct.
