Eloping + reception
My fiance and I are having a destination wedding of sorts on Nov 17th of this year, and will be leaving for Cancun in a week. Our parents and his sister will be joining us, and we are planning on a reception next May in Oregon, where our families live.
We want to send a wedding announcement/reception invitation combo to our other relatives and friends, but is December too soon for a May event? I feel like everyone that we really want to be there will remember, but I'm not sure.
