Thoughts on Trip and T'Pol's baby girl...

Well inherently there are some questions because I believe both Phlox and T'Pol are telling the truth. The baby is Trip and T'Pol's. T'Pol also has never been pregnant. So what's the story....
Well I've got one of two thoughts (considering that Phlox claims it is possible to have the embreyo removed)...
Paxton really does seem to have a lot of info on these two so he obviously knows that they were *cough* at least together one time. Which is all it takes. But if you go with the remove the embreyo theory how would Paxton have gotten it? This could be my faulty memory but Ent was pretty busy dealing with the Xindi away from Earth so unless he had someone on board with a lot of medical expertise as a spy I can't imagine him getting the embreyo out of T'Pol before she noticed she was pregnant. Although this whole pregnacy does explain why the bond is so strong between them all.
The only other explanation is that somehow someone medically removed the correct items LOL from T'Pol and Trip without their knowledge to create the baby. This makes more sense and gives Paxton and his crew more of an opportunity because Enteprise came back to Earth after they defeated the Xindi. But then why chose the two? How does he know they were/are an item? There's certainly other Vulcans and humans on earth. If he was gunning for Enterprise crew members why not T'Pol and Reed? Heck why create a baby at all if he calls the child an abomination and is hell bent on destroying the child? This leads me to believe that maybe the child was created by someone else who wants interspecies unity but that begs the question of why and who?
As for the baby...well considering the ep made the crew (here I mean the set crew) cry, I really don't think the baby is going to live and I'm sure I'll be crying about it too:( Also there's the fact that T/T have broken up by the finale (although they supposedly "miss" each other so maybe it means they are on their way to getting back together before Enterprise gets decommissioned) and no mention has been made of the baby in the finale.
Why does the baby die? There were mentions in the ep about the baby fighting off fevers but is otherwise healthy. This could just be a normal child illness. However, I have a sickening feeling that T'Pol's previous actions are going to come back to haunt her. Assuming they went with the concieved way to get the embreyo, T'Pol was high on Trellium-D at the time and still continued to use it for awhile after. I think this might ultimately be why the child dies:( Poor T'Pol and Trip:( I also found it strange that Paxton in the ep was shown injecting himself with a substance which is VERY reminicent of T'Pol getting high of Trellium D. Or they might simply go the route of Paxton killing the child:(
Questions...lots! Answers...so far none! I really hope they do explain the whole situation next ep rather than letting us wonder about it. But sometimes the writers, and they are VERY good this season, write things because it has to make the plot line move along and not because they make logically any sense. Like posting a male body guard to watch over the Orion slaves while they were in the brig in the ep Bound! I mean honestly LOL you knew they were gonna escape!
