Behind the lj-cut just in case of spoilers:)
Goblet of Fire Trailer:
Fav parts for some reason are Hermione screaming Harry's name in panic from the stands and the end with Dumbledore's voice over to Harry about difficult choices of chosing what is right and what is easy.
Other clips from the movie clips from Saturday:
Loved that we are going to see the fights between Ron and Harry as well as Ron and Hermione. Some of my fav clips were from the Yule Ball and the QWC:)
Trailer for The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe:
Looked great:)
Movies:
Under the Tuscan Sun:
Saw most of it so we'll say I saw it LOL:) Good movie about loss of love, adventure, friends who are family, and the hope that true love does exist. Basic premise is a recent divorcee (Diane Lane) buys a villa in Italy and begins a new life for herself:)
Van Helsing:
Okay it's a mind candy movie LOL:) Plus is that David Wenhem is in it...but he is playing a cooky friar so there's really no compairson with our rugged hero Faramir LOL:) Somewhat interesting but everything they brought up in the movie reminded me of other better movies. (Although it is nice that the guy that plays Kate Beckinsale's brother is handsome;) LOL). The religious aspects reminded me of Dracula 2000, the whole bringing "horror" people together reminded me of A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Kate Beckinsale reminded me of Underworld, and Hugh Jackman...well he was better in X-Men LOL:) Basic premise is Van Helsing is sent to help Beckinsale and her brother destroy Dracula.
Butterfly Effect:
I had wanted to see this movie because I thought it would make me think and somewhat reminded me of X-Files. Within the first five minutes I realized that this is really one disturbing movie. Nothing particularly graphic but you know what's going on and its not pretty. Defintely the seamy side of suburbia. But I watched it all the way through and by the end I was like "wow." I don't think I'll ruin anything by saying the ending is bittersweet. Ashton Kutcher I thought did a decent job playing a dramatic role. There was even a nice part, I'm assuming its the same actor, by the second "Ray" from Due South playing Kutcher's Dad. Basic premise is a boy (Kutcher) grows up having blackouts only to realize years later that he has the power to go back in time and change events.
