April!
I hope everyone has had a nice 1st April - I have no idea where the last three months went but there you go.
Less than a week into politics overdrive, and I have already had enough of it all. Urgh, I really hate politics (I did not used to hate it so much - it's just now that it's just bad mouthing and finger pointed I can't be doing with it. Though amazingly, we have more than two choices this time around (my area used to have two choices - and we are a safe seat for one of those choices - depressing)).
The media however manage to drive me more crazy (somehow, Channel 4 have managed to write and produce a reactive documentary in less than a week - which is pretty much scaremongering *urgh*) *face palms*.
I have tomorrow off - will use it to brace myself for working three out of the four days of Easter weekend *heh*. Have easter craft session to run saturday, then doing a mini egg hunt for kids sunday morning.
PhD wise - I have no idea (sent proposal, got comments back that were 'think this has merit, but don't agree with the following', replied, got more comments, amounts to a complete rework but is not something that key contract really believes has value (so completely different ends of spectrum of thought *face palm*) so yeahhhhh) - going to take some time to evaluate and poke around for advice on it elsewhere (given that adviser when asked for references he would suggest, said he has none. One of his points is based on anecdotal stuff, but I have to provide evidence against it? *head desks*)
Am trying Camp Nano this year. Hoping it will help with progress on stuff *crosses fingers*
And I still open for characters for the meme of doom here :D
