[Well, Wesker gets there first, very very very very very very very very very very very very unimpressed by being summoned to and fro, but he is curious about this new system, so he's going along with it. He'll be standing towards the back ~in the shadows~]

[Meanwhile, Adachi slouches in not long after, and immediately stands as far away from Wesker as possible, sidling over towards Regene just a smidge. So. This is kind of awkward. Someone get in there.]

[Duly, Sherry shows up. She looks around for a good spot, decides that clearly Mr. Wesker picks the best spots, and stands near him ~in the shadows~. The laboratory is pretty new to her, so she's looking around at all the weird stuff they have.]

[Stein enters calmly after a moment or two. He was reluctant to leave Birkin and Annette talking without him in close proximity, but one doesn't ignore Regene's calls - or one might be surprised by loose zombies running around.

He grabs a rolling chair and straddles it, looking curiously up at Regene.]

[Birkin looked pretty pissed off about all this. Between last week's little "security update" and his most recent conversation with Annette, he wasn't really in the mood for any of this right now.]

[For once, Annette had not followed at her husband's heels, instead arriving momentarily before him. Her pace to the main lab had been brisk. Maybe she had been trying to distract herself. Maybe she had been running away without actually running.

She sees her daughter, but she also sees Wesker right next to her, and opts to stand away from everyone else. It isn't lurking in the shadows, but the effect is similar.

No smart comment springs to her mind: she is too busy thinking.]

[Regene leans against a bank of screens, looking slightly worse for wear, but far better than your typical coma patient. He's only just dressed, and seems to be having difficulty with his tie, giving up and letting it hang around his shirt collar.]

[Wesker clears his throat loudly, with a glare at Adachi and Regene.] Perhaps we can get on with what you wanted to show us, sometime this year?

[Looking over Adachi's shoulder at Wesker, Regene sighs.] You're right, how rude of me to keep you all waiting. After all, what with everyone being so busy, you haven't got much time to spare. [There's no smirk on his face, just a deadpan stare.]

Ugh, my mouth feels horrible. I could really use a drink... [Oh, sorry, had we just been talking about being in a hurry?]
