I'm in San Francisco. It is 75 degrees and sunny. So was yesterday. Even Friday, when I got in, it was still warm. HAHAHA getting out of Seattle is awesome. Del Martin, a gay rights activist for over half a century and one-half of the first gay couple to wed in San Francisco this past June, has died at the age of 87. Her wife and partner of 55 years was at her side. NCLR obituary [PDF]

We owe her so much, and I am unutterably glad she got to be married to the love of her life before she passed.
